Modelisation of road traffic

In this talk, I will shortly present an introduction to road traffic modelisation. In fact, we are interested in Hamilton-Jacobi Equations posed on a junction, where we study numerical schemes of finite differences. The difficulty is to prove that the scheme is monotone, which amounts to show an estimate of the discretized gradient. Then, some new works on general junction conditions will be presented.
